“Why fit in when you were born to stand out!” – Dr. Suess
How I wish I had known this when I was growing up. This week’s diva challenge by guest blogger Elisa Murphy took me down memory lane and I must admit, it wasn’t all that pleasant. Growing up, I struggled plenty with not fitting in. Although I couldn’t say that I really tried. It didn’t seem worth all the effort. I couldn’t be happier for standing my ground and refusing to be someone I clearly was not.
So here’s to us who have refused to fit the mold. Here’s to us who were brave enough to be ourselves and find our own way. Here’s to us who have been squeezed and pushed and shoved and have emerged stronger only to spread our wings and fly 🙂

I really like your composition. It looks like gathered lace. Lovely.
